I started my career in childcare back in 2012 where I gained experience and knowledge of all age groups, I started as a level 2 in the 0-2years group. I carried on studying and gained my level 3 childcare diploma. Working in childcare has been an eye opening experience but it has been great! In my previous setting I worked closely with children with Down syndrome and Autism learning different ways to communicate and creating visually focused activities that helped them get the most out of each session, it was lovely to see the children flourish and grow but incredibly hard saying goodbye when they left for school.

I have loved working in childcare, watching the children grow into independent individuals, having their own personalities, it has been amazing being part of their milestones. I love that the children have a lot of energy and their imaginations during play! The conversations to be had with children is amazing, being a part of their little bubble.
