“Pat, pat, bubble, bubble”, were just some of the harmonic sounds we could hear coming from our little babies during our Christmas months! What better way to get their senses working other than using bright sensory pouches with different textures, and exploring and chasing the lights and bubbles around the room, our babies sure make use out of our brand new sensory room! And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to have a Christmas party day! Dressed in their best Christmas jumpers, our babies really enjoyed our snow and tasty tree decorating. They also got to meet Father Christmas, although this may not have been a highlight of the month…! HO HO HO.
Lots of smiles coming from our 2-3s when they received their gifts from Father Christmas, and there was plenty of delicious food filling up our toddlers tummy’s YUMMMMY. Bringing in the New Year of 2016 brought our very own bush tucker trial! Our tots dug and delved into the mud, searching with a magnifying glass to find the biggest and brightest bugs, they managed to find some butterflies, grasshoppers and much more! BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ.
Seeing as we haven’t had any real snow to play in this Winter, our creative pre-schoolers decided to use their imaginations and make their own snow..creating our very own snow kingdom in Monkey Puzzle Irthlingborough-it was FREEEEEZING! But Daddy’s day was of course our kiddies favourite day of the month, they got to show off their Dads and Grandads, and have lots of fun during the stay and play-what more could they want.
