October has arrived and we’ve been busy with the children, enjoying lots of Autumn themed activities!
In the Orange room we have enjoyed making clouds and painting raindrops. We have also been exploring in the cornflour with cars. We have also been investigating in the natural playdough. We have loved looking at all the objects that our friends have brought in.
In the Pink room we have been keeping to our Autumn theme. The children have been very creative making autumn wreaths, we have been out on walks to the top field to collect natural objects such as sticks and we have been painting with these. We have also been using forks to make our very own hedgehog paintings. We did some baking and made some scarecrow biscuits which were very yummy!
The Green room have been making colourful prints using apples as well as exploring different liquids in the sensory tray. The babies have enjoyed making sandcastles using the spades and buckets to scoop and pour the sand. We have received some lovely Autumn treasure bags that we have looked at together, feeling the different textures and practising some single words.
