We are back from a lovely Christmas break. The staff and children are all refreshed and full of exciting plans and activities. We had a lovely time at the dad’s stay and play and Parker’s dad was having so much fun he even stayed and joined us for lunch.
We have loved exploring our outside area trying to catch and pretend to be snowflakes twisting and turning in the breeze.
We enjoyed celebrating Chinese new year we enjoyed lots of Rooster themed activities and Tina incorporated this with our meals creating Sweet and sour chicken and rice as well as a selection of spring rolls and prawn crackers for snack time yummy…….
We have been very busy with show arounds and sign ups since new year we can’t wait to welcome our new children.
What a busy exciting month we have planned, we are busy planning to extend our nursery to create a second room for our under 2s. We are advertising internally for a new senior to take on the room……watch this space. The new building will also allow us to offer a before and after school/holiday club in the future which we and our parents are all very excited about.
We had a lovely time celebrating Valentine’s Day, we had an open morning where parents came and enjoyed lots of fun and creative activities.
We also celebrated Pancake day. Tina worked very hard making pancakes for all the children and staff. Preschool worked hard creating their own pancake activities identifying ingredients and learning new skills to use during the preparation.
Preschool also thoroughly enjoyed a visit from our local vet Rina, The children explored with bandages and listening to our hearts with a stethoscope.
