It’s our Halloween and Fireworks time of year again!
Our babies have been extremely busy creating their very own hungry caterpillar display this month to go with the book we’ve been reading, they loved painting their paper plates green with different brushes and tools to create different effects! Sensory play is so important for our babies’ development, and good fun at the same time, what a bonus! They’ve loved playing with different textures like straw, sand, foam, gloop and paint. We had a lovely fun filled day experimenting with it all this month, HOORAAY.
Our nursery teams have been busy getting ready for Halloween and decorating the nursery with all sorts of scary themed accessories, and our 2-3s have loved it! Harvest fun has also been on the agenda this month and our toddlers have enjoyed lots of messy and crafty fun using potatoes and paint to create arty pictures!
Our Pre-schoolers honoured Remembrance Day this month with a day filled with special activities, to help them learn and have fun at the same time! A big group effort was made to make a GIANT poppy filled with plenty of sparkly glitter, this was definitely a highlight! The children were so grown up and managed to have a 2 minute silence at 11am. Well done pre-schoolers!
