Our room’s have enjoyed making Diya’s and lanterns for their candles. We have enjoyed painting and designing rangoli patterns, Rangoli is an art form native to Nepal, India and Bangladesh (known as Alpana) in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand or flower petals.
Some of our children also came to nursery in their traditional Hindu clothes, they looked beautiful.
